ERVIE MAE SWANSON                                                                                               November 4, 2017

Ervie Mae Swanson left to be with her husband, Swanee on November 4, 2017. She was born Ervie Mae Thompson to Lottie and John Thompson on July 23, 1931 in Moscow ID, following the death of her father at the age of 5, Ervie and her siblings attended Mooseheart Academy in Illinois. She graduated high school there and returned to Moscow to work at the University of Idaho Library. Ervie married Donald A. Swanson (Swanee) on September 9, 1950. They raised 4 children Bruce, Michael, Ellen and Steven. Her family grew to include 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, who survive her. She dedicated her time and energy to family and friends, who were blessed through her talents as a cook, seamstress, photographer and crafter. Ervie always was available to listen, assist and offer support. Services will be on Tuesday November 14, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Moscow Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Kramer officiating. Kramer Funeral Home, Palouse, WA is in charge of the arrangements.
