Eric Gearhart, 48, passed away following a motorcycle accident on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Eric was born on January 21, 1970 in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was raised, and lived his life, in Palouse, Washington. He had an adventurous spirit, a warm smile, quick wit, and a great sense of humor. Eric didn't do many things in life he didn't want to, almost nothing in fact, and if he was your friend it's because he wanted to be. He loved his kids, writing and recording music, playing guitar, dirt biking and motorcycling. Throughout his life he worked hard, and was extremely thoughtful and loyal to his friends and family.
Eric is survived by his two lovely daughters, Ashley (Bridger) Waterhouse and Caitlyn Gearhart, who he devoted his life to raising; two very proud parents, Jerry and Lynne Gearhart of Palouse, Washington; his brothers, Chris (Tina Dawdy) Gearhart and Marc (Courtney) Gearhart, both of Snoqualmie, Washington, and Rob (Jennifer) McDonald of Potlatch, Idaho; his sister, Shari (David) Fernandez of Boise, Idaho; seven nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and his beloved dog, Moe. A celebration of Eric’s life will be held in Palouse, Washington at a later date.
