VIOLET L (FISHER) MATSON

A graveside memorial service for Violet L. Matson, 93, will be held on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at the Rock Creek Cemetery, Potlatch, ID with Pastor Kathy Kramer officiating.  Violet passed away on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 at Aspen Park of Cascadia in Moscow, ID.

She was born on Feb. 27, 1925 at Garfield, WA to William and Georgianna (Goodman) Fisher.   After graduating from Palouse High School, met and married first husband Troy Kimbrough together they had 3 children Judith, William and Janet.  She married the love of her life Lloyd M Matson on Nov 16, 1968 at Coeur d’Alene, Id and the couple made their home at Potlatch, ID. Violet was a homemaker most of her life.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Violet loved the outdoors, loved to fish and hunt mushrooms. She loved baking cookies and candy. She made the best homemade bread.

Survivors include one son Bill Lundgren, Onaway, ID, one daughter, Judy Wilson, Moscow, ID.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 20 great- great grandchildren.
