Carol L. Gross, 76, a resident of Oakesdale, WA and formerly of Garfield, WA passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at her home in Oakesdale, WA.

Carol was born on April 13, 1947 at Spokane, WA to Walter and Verna L. (Mooney) Stallman. 

She attended her schooling in Spokane, WA and graduated from the John Rogers High School in 1965. 

She married Donald Gross on Nov. 27, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri and the couple made their home there where Don was stationed in the Army.  The couple later moved to Spokane, WA and in 1967 moved to Garfield, WA.  Later moved to Colfax, WA in 1999 and to Oakesdale, WA in 2009 where they made their home since.

Carol worked as a caregiver in Colfax, WA for 9 years.

Carol enjoyed casino gambling, playing pinochle, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include her husband Donald Gross, Oakesdale, WA,, One son, Donald Scott Gross, Punta Gardo, Florida, one daughter, Tamara Reed, Colfax, WA, four half brothers, John Olson, and Marvin Olson both of Spokane, WA, Earle Olson, Tacoma, WA, Michael Olson, Deer Park, WA, one sister, Sharon Culton, Garfield, WA, half sister, Beverly Schmidt, Eatonville, WA.  Carol is also survived by 2 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, 2:00 P.M. at the Garfield Christian Fellowship Church, Garfield, WA with Pastor Tom Dahl officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Donor’s Choice.
