Cody James Woolverton, 23, of Potlatch, Idaho passed away on January 23, 2021 from an ATV accident.
Cody was born December 8, 1997 to Brian and Stephenie (Richardson) Woolverton. Cody attended school in Potlatch and has always enjoyed working on anything with a motor, 4-wheeling, hanging with family and friends and making people laugh.
He started farming out of school and worked for several farmers including Peterson Farms, G&C Growers, and Mader Farms, where he has worked for the last 5 years. Cody was always willing to jump in and help whenever someone needed it. If he didn’t know how, he would find out. He was determined to fix whatever was broken.
He was so proud of this town and genuinely loved the people here. He was the definition of a small-town country boy and will be greatly missed. He did not know a stranger. He truly saw the best in people and made friends quickly and easily. He just had a way of making people feel better.
Cody loved to go 4-wheeling and was currently repainting and rebuilding his Toyota pickup. He spent time with his fur babies, “Buster” and “Bo” and he took them everywhere with him. He also took great pride in his house and was working hard to make it a home.
Survivors include his Father Brian Woolverton (Dante C.) and his mother Stephenie Woolverton (Mitch). Half-Brothers; Toby Richardson, WesLee Woolverton and Half-Sister; Dante M. Woolverton. Stepbrothers; Ceve Brown, Gavin Fischer, Raylan Fisher and Stepsister; Kendal Fischer. His girlfriend, Ashleigh Stoddard and multiple family members and friends, that Cody also considered family.
In honor of Cody’s memory, the family would appreciate any memorials to help support Ag/Welding. We have decided to start a scholarship fund in Cody's memory.
