Donna L. Orth, 83, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019 at her home in Colfax, WA. from a short battle with cancer.

Donna was born on Oct. 29, 1936 at Everett, WA to William P. “Ed” and Opal (Lee) Tromblay.  She attended the Snohomish Schools with the class of 1954.

Donna married Richard Schaller on Dec. 19, 1953 in Leesville, Louisiana while Richard was stationed there in the Army.

After being raised as an only child she said she would never raise one alone, and she was blessed with four daughters and two sons.

After the Army, the family moved to Snohomish area before buying an apple orchard in Tonasket, WA.  The couple were later divorced.

Donna married Fred Orth in 1992 and the couple later divorced.  After living in Tonasket and Sequim she moved to Colfax, WA to be near her daughter Sara.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Donna was a member of the Christian Women’s Club, Church of the Nazarene at Colfax, WA, and the Thrifty Grandmother’s club.

Donna enjoyed thrift stores, yard sales, her many friends and her grandkids.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Cathy Wehmeyer.

Donna is survived by two sons, Tim Schaller, Tonasket, WA, Todd (Lisa) Schaller, Reno, NV., three daughters, Susan Tafuna, Snohomish, WA, Carin (Ted) Jones, Tonasket, WA, Sara (Darin) Berntgen, Oakesdale, WA.  Donna is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great – great- grandchildren.  Also a special friend, Eugene Morris.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Colfax Church of the Nazarene, 2:00 P.M. with Pastors Don Moore and Lynn Nelson officiating.
