DUANE "BUTCH" HENRY WIGHT

Duane "Butch" Wight, 54, passed away at his home on July 19, 2024. He was born on December 22, 1969, in Lewiston, Idaho.

In 1997, Duane married Jennifer Norman, and together they had two children, Trevor and Aubrey, both of Moscow, Idaho. He was a devoted father and took great pride in his family. Duane was preceded in death by his son, Michael MacMillan, a loss that deeply affected him.

Duane is survived by his children, Trevor and Aubrey, his parents, Everett and Alta Wight, his brother, Shawn Wight, his sister, Angela Merrill, and her husband Joe, as well as his beloved grandchild, Evelyn Wight.

A true craftsman at heart, Duane found peace and fulfillment in the simple pleasure of working on classic mopar cars. His garage was a sanctuary, where the hum of engines and the smell of oil were comforting reminders of his passion.

A private family burial will take place at Freeze Cemetery, where Duane will be laid to rest. His legacy of love, dedication, and quiet humility will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Duane's spirit will forever be remembered as one that found beauty in simplicity and joy in the little things, leaving behind a life rich with love and cherished memories.
