JOHN PAUL SCHRAUFNAGEL JANUARY 27, 2024
JOHN P. SCHRAUFNAGEL, age 36, a resident of Princeton, Idaho for the past 20 years, passed away on January 27, 2024 in a house fire at his home in Princeton. He was born March 27, 1987 at Spokane, WA to Eric Maraby and Bethany Schraufnagel. John attended schools at Potlatch, graduating from high school in 2005. After high school, he worked at several odd jobs in the area including the Tekoa Care Center in Tekoa, WA. In 2015, he was employed at Hash Tree Farm near Princeton, Idaho and was employed there at the time of his death as a supervisor.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include his mother, Bethany Davis of Princeton, ID, brother James Schraufnagel of Princeton, Idaho, sisters Echo Casey of Nine Mile Falls, WA, and Cassandra Schraufnagel of Athol, ID; grandmother Lynda Maraby of Federal Way, Washington, Sandra Kinzler of Spokane, WA.
A memorial service will be held at the Princeton Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. Lynda Maraby will officiate at the service.
A covered dish dinner will be served after the service at the church.
