Lori Ann Martin was born to Gene and Pauline (Wooley) Martin on September 8, 1960 in Lewiston Idaho. Lori peacefully passed away, surrounded by family on September 15, 2023 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene Idaho from complications of pneumonia.
Lori grew up in North-Central Idaho, spending most of her life in Potlatch Idaho. She graduated from Potlatch High School in 1979 and from Lewis Clark State College in 1998.
Lori’s professional life included positions in Home Healthcare, as a Nanny for her Brothers 4 children, bookkeeping for Stubbs Seed company and Crites Seed company. Lori enjoyed her co-workers and local farmers while employed at Crites and Stubbs.
Lori enjoyed crafts and would always have a craft project available at family functions. Lori loved to laugh. She loved board games, especially ones that the kids would enjoy. She always provided the newest and funniest games for family gatherings. We would play and laugh for hours. We are fortunate to have many fun memories and videos.
Lori met Kenny Runyon in 1990, they married on November 12, 1998. She enthusiastically embraced becoming a Step-Mom to Kenny’s 2 sons Randall and Lukas. She was happy to welcome 2 daughters in law to the family. Lori was ecstatic to become a grandma to her 4 beautiful grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Lori also had a special relationship with her brother’s children Lenae, Leremy, Lacie and Lucas.
Lori was preceded in death by her husband Kenny and her parents.
Lori is survived by her Step-sons Randall (Becca) and Lukas (Cherae), her grandchildren Tyson, Kayden, Brooklyn and Brendan. Also surviving are her Siblings Randy (Sue), Jim (Sus), Debbie (Kelvin), Phillip (Georgia) and Susy (Bill), numerous Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and In-laws.
Lori displayed great kindness, compassion and generosity in her life as well as in death. She was a registered organ donor and gave the gift of life and sight with her passing.
