LORNA RAE (COVINGTON) MARPLE

In Loving Memory of Lorna Rae Marple, Garfield, WA.

With deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we remember and honor the remarkable Lorna Marple, a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, and caring heart for all that knew and needed her. Lorna passed away on August 27th, 2023.  Her legacy of love and kindness will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched.

Lorna was born on August 2nd, 1930, in Harrington, WA.  Lorna went to school and graduated from Pullman High School.  Lorna married Gene Marple and they made a life and family in Garfield, WA.  Lorna loved to celebrate the Holidays and spend time at the lake.  She is well remembered for the amazing birthday cakes and as a tap and baton instructor.  She learned to fly and had her pilot’s license. She and Gene had many adventures flying across the US. 

Lorna’s legacy extends through the lives of her family.  She leaves behind her beloved sons, Daymon and Kraig Marple and daughter Linda Kildew.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many other people whom she helped along the way as a testament to the power of family and the unbreakable connection she had with all the lives she touched.

Rest in peace, dear Lorna.  Your spirit and love will live through our memories and continue to guide us through life’s journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held later as members of the family can attend.
