PATRICIA WALDRIP Obituary

Patricia M. Waldrip, 82, a resident of Ladow Court Assisted Living at Garfield, WA. passed away on May 8, 2020 at the Whitman Health and Rehab Center in Colfax, WA.

Patricia was born on Aug. 29, 1937 at East St. Louis, Illinois to Clyde and Virginia (Eckmann) Haps.  She attended the East St. Louis schools and graduated from the East St. Louis High School. 

Patricia was employed at Mountain Bell Telephone Company for 20 years and retired as Chief Operator for the company.   She worked for and retired from the Federal Public Defenders office as a secretary with 10 years of service. 

Patricia upon retirement moved to Liviningston, MT where she resided until she moved to Oakesdale with family.  In February of 2019 she moved to Garfield, WA to the Ladow Court Assisted Living and passed away on May 8, 2020 at the Whitman Health and Rehab Center in Colfax, WA.

She enjoyed crafts, lunch dates with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, Robin Lanius, Reno, Nevada, Jay Gordon, McDonald, Kansas, Jana Mantzey, Livingston, Montana and Bill Lanius, Oakesdale, WA., two brothers, Richard Herndon, Carlyle, IL., and Gary Haps, East St. Louis, IL.  Patricia is also survived by numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
