1951 ~ 2020 (age 69)


Patrick Thomas Starr, 69, a resident of Palouse, WA passed away on Nov. 7, 2020 at the Pullman Regional Hospital in Pullman, WA.

Pat was born on Jan. 29, 1951 at Belle Fourche, S. Dakota to Charles and Sophie (Hendrickson) Starr.  He attended his schooling in S. Dakota. 

He joined the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War.  He served on an aircraft carrier and was discharged on March 2, 1979 as an Interior Communications Electrician Second Class.

He married Sandra Triplett on March 9, 1980 at Coeur d’Alene, ID and the couple later made their home in Palouse, WA.  Pat was employed at Washington State University as a Sound and Lighting Technician until he retired a few years ago.

Pat enjoyed Electronics, playing the piano, working with flowers and wood working.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sandra Starr at the Palouse home, two sons, Dan Starr (Erin) and Brent Starr (Kateria) both of Lewiston, ID, one daughter, Lisa Rhudy (Russell), Idaho Falls, ID, one sister, Harriet Pump, Two Dot, Montana.  Pat is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

There will be no public services.
