Phillip D. Doramus, 46, a resident of Palouse, WA passed away at his Palouse Home on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020.
Phil was born on June 26, 1974 at Twin Falls, ID to Jesse Dale and Sharon (Kuest) Doramus. He moved here from Twin Falls, ID in 1977. Phil attended his schooling at the Gar-Pal middle and High School where he played football from 1990 to 1992.
Phil married Carrie Renee Gamet on Dec. 22, 2003 and the couple made their home in Palouse, WA.
Phil drove truck most of his life and enjoyed digging in the dirt when he did excavation for Mega D and Albright. His last employer was Bennett Lumber at Princeton, ID.
He was a member of the Palouse Federated Church worship band where he played bass guitar. Phil enjoyed cooking, working on cars, building thing with his hands. He was loyal to his friends and family, trustworthy, and always willing to help others in need.
Survivors include his wife Carrie Doramus ,Palouse, WA , daughters, Aurianna Nuehs, Spokane, WA, Miki Nuehs – Blomgren (Grant), Spokane, WA, Jenaya Hicks, Salina, KS, Keiona Zachow, Moscow, ID, two sons,Kaynan Zachow, Moscow, ID Deven Doramus, Palouse, WA, one sister, Misty L. Doramus, Colfax, WA, his mother, Sharon Doramus, Albion, WA. Phil is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
A family celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Kramer Funeral Home with Rev. Corey Laughary officiating. A reception will follow at the Viola Community Center at Viola, ID.
