I was sorry and surprised to hear of Nancy's passing. Nancy and I were colleagues for years at LMS and shared years of humor, tears, celebration, real and imagined illnesses, relief, pride, professionalism and caring. As the school's secretaries Nancy and Joanne womaned the frontlines and provided a calm, sensitive and welcoming presence. I know she will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She would do anything for the kids, and for the staff as well. We were both recipients of Nancy's grace at work...helping us with a missed deadline or some other detail that we had forgotten.
