I had the pleasure of serving as a Trustee on the Mortar Board National Foundation with Gen. She was so dedicated to this organization, which she was named to as a senior in college. Her energy and enthusiasm helps us raise funds for Mortar Board members pursuing graduate studies, furthering her lifelong commitment to higher education.
I had made a donation in her memory to the Mortar Board National Foundation. She left quite a legacy.
My heart goes out to the family. She had a wonderful life and will be missed.

I was so sorry to read about the passing of your Mother. She was such a beautiful woman, inside and out. I grew up in Trinity Lutheran Church and I can remember always waiting for your parents to come in. They always made me smile and of course, your Father always patted me on the back! I have wonderful memories of your Mother. God Bless you all in this time of loss.

To John and the entire family, Sincerest condolences on the loss of your Mom. So many of us have experienced the same heartbreak this year. Our personal losses are intensified with each passing from our parents' generation. The histories are so similar, we seem to all be family.

What an amazing woman. They were part of an amazing generation that taught us so much about life. Bob & Jen were a shining example of this generation. They always made you feel so special. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
